What I do around Manly
- Decks and pergolas
New builds, rebuilds and repairs, including handrails and balustrades.
- Fencing and gates
Timber paling and picket fences, privacy screens and gate repairs.
- Interior carpentry
Shelving, built in storage, doors, skirting and architraves.
- Timber flooring
New floors, engineered boards and floorboard repairs.
- Repairs and maintenance
Rotten timber, sticking doors, stairs and general carpentry.
Timber around Manly cops more weather than most of Sydney. Salt air, sea spray and full sun are hard on decks, fences, balustrades and front doors, so timber choice, stainless steel fixings and a finish that can be recoated all matter more here than they do further inland. I quote with that in mind rather than pricing the cheapest material that will not last.
